So I'm powering through the anime because I saw the Kawaki fight, and the anime is mediocre through episode 91. A few good arcs here and there, and this last one with Mitsuki was pretty good - but a lot of trash and skippable episodes bridging all that together. How does the rest of what I have to watch to catch up stack up?

Music and sound: The music in the original Naruto is good, but had some that were under decent. In Naruto: Shippuuden all opening are and just the music in the episodes are great.

Episode 479 of Shippuden episode 699 of the Naruto anime in total is chapter 699 of the manga with a little filler that fits fine. So from this point on it's side stories, light novel adaptions, the Brouto manga and original filler that is totally skippable.
