There's lots of interesting stuff in the game's structure and plot, let alone the lore/backstory. Gotta note though OP - chances are Blade of the Immortal and other manga you're referring to already lifted a lot from Japanese folklore/mythology, so chances are Sekiro is also using the same sources (albeit also referencing the manga, laterally).

In Sekiro the story is far more direct, there is a ton of exposition and narration in the beginning, you play as a defined character protagonist. So the distinction is quite obvious. In Soulsborne having a weak plot WOULD be easily forgiven, but those games actually have great stories and not just in the world building.

I agree they shouldn't be compared, but you just said: Sekiro is way more difficult than Ghost one post ago. And I wasn't baiting you, Jesus Christ. I was asking because I think most people who generalize Sekiro as difficult probably sail through 90% of the game easily, and it's only a handful of bosses/mini-bosses that give them trouble.
