They are the only CD versions I own, and I think they sound good. I prefer my Quiex LP of 1984 to the HDCD because I think it sounds a touch less tinny and has a bit more bass, but I like them all nonetheless. Many of the Warner remastered get a bit of flack, I have noticed, but there are worse remastering campaigns of artists than Van Halen.

This CD is Van Halen's first album.With Gene Simmons producing Runnin with the Devil,this was their first hit off the album. This CD is a must have. Other songs such as Ain't Talkin' Bout Love, Jamie's Cryin', and Little Dreamer are just a few songs that make this album their best album ever. I would recommend this to a friend.

Well Van Halen put out an unbelievable follow-up album & took the rock world by storm in 1979. The disc included standout rock tracks such as "Dance the Night Away" " Somebody Get me a Doctor" and "Beautiful Girls". There was NO filler on this album, every song rocked!!
